Terms of Service

Last updated: 11 October 2026

These are the terms for using Bricking It. They're short because the service is simple: it's a free tool for sorting and completing LEGO® sets, run by two hobbyists. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who we are

Bricking It is run by February House Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17142357), registered office Unit A, 82 James Carter Road, Mildenhall, United Kingdom, IP28 7DE. "Bricking It", "we", "us" refers to February House Ltd. You can reach us via the contact form, or for legal matters at legal@bricking-it.com.

The service

Bricking It lets you check LEGO® sets against their catalogue inventories, track which pieces you've found, list what's missing, identify pieces, and organise your collection. It's provided free of charge. We may add, change or remove features at any time, and we may take the service offline for maintenance or for good — we'll try to give notice, but we can't promise to.

Your account

  • You must be 13 or older to create an account.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
  • You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. See the Privacy Policy for what happens to your data.
  • Guest mode needs no account; everything stays in your browser and we can't recover it if it's lost.

Your content

Your collection data, notes, set images and piece photos are yours. You give us permission to store and display them so the service works, including publicly if you choose to share your collection or a sort. Anything you make public should be yours to share.

Piece photos you scan may be used to improve piece identification for everyone — see the Privacy Policy for how photos are handled and reviewed.

Acceptable use

Please don't:

  • Upload anything unlawful, offensive, or that you don't have the right to share.
  • Scrape, bulk-download or resell the catalogue data or our piece-identification results.
  • Try to break in, overload the service, or interfere with other people's use of it.
  • Impersonate someone else or misrepresent a shared sort as something it isn't.

We can suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

Catalogue data and accuracy

Set inventories come from Rebrickable and are updated regularly, but inventories can be incomplete or wrong, and the LEGO Group sometimes changes a set's contents during its production run. Piece identification from a photo is a best guess. Always check against the set's instructions before buying pieces or describing a set as complete to a buyer.

Third-party sites

We link out to BrickLink, Rebrickable and other sites to help you buy or research pieces. Those sites have their own terms, and we're not responsible for what happens there or for prices you're quoted.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any warranty. We don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — please keep your own records of anything important.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for any loss arising from your use of the service, including pieces bought on the strength of a missing list or a photo identification. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under UK law.

Trademarks

LEGO® is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorise or endorse this site. Bricking It is an independent fan project, not affiliated with Rebrickable or Brick Owl. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

Changes to these terms

If we change anything material we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, let you know by email or in-app notice. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
